This Wonderful piece of ethnic, textile art was entirely hand made, and was purchased from a Kuna Indian mola maker on the San Blas Island of Ile Tupu off of the coast of Panama. It was originally made to be part of a blouse and, as with all genuine molas, it has been worn. It has now been carefully taken apart to be used as framed art or as part of your own special creation. It is in superb condition and the size is approximately 13.5 x 16 inches. It has two full layers of cloth - maroon & black and about 16 or more colors in the design.
