This delightful piece of ethnic, textile art was entirely hand made (tredle maching stitching on the side seams), and was purchased from a Kuna Indian mola maker on the San Blas Island of Nalunega, off of the coast of Panama. It was originally made to be part of a blouse and, as with all genuine molas, it has been worn. It has now been carefully taken apart to be used as framed art or as part of your own special creation.

Poor = Major holes, tears and or fading, loose stitching or other flaws.
Fair = Some fading, small holes or tears, maybe some small worn spots.
Good = Few or no holes (if any, very small), could have some fading.
Excellent = No holes or tears, stitching tight, colors may have some mellowing (will be noted in description) but will be mostly bright and vivid.
Fine = Nearly perfect with no noticeable flaws.
Superb = New or Like New with no flaws of any kind, colors bright with no fading, all stitches in perfect condition.

The size is approximately 13 x 16.5 inches. It has 3 full layers of cloth - orange, black & maroon and about a dozen or more colors in the design.
